How did you get it to seal. Can you braze aluminum and brass. Glad to hear the motor has rods and pistons.

I had the pan on my GT tapped with a brass fitting and it never leaked, nbd.

VTA gates on low boost sucks, it's super annoying. I had one on the GT running wastegate pressure on a VJ20 and it was open constantly and I hated it. The wagon has one but it doesn't open til 1.8-2.5bar, whatever, I can get into boost and still have the car be relatively quiet if I pedal it.

Atomic what pound spring are you running in your wastegate? I think tapping the pan didn't work out since basicly I put it at the top of the pan and I didn't have enough room with the mbsp. Mine wasn't in the stock location so I didn't have as much material in the pan as the stock location.

No idea, bought it used and I've never run it without the boost controller. It does what it wants anyway.

ok so I got the car pretty well tuned just a bit rich in boost but ne ways I have a pretty bad exhaust vibration around 3,000 rpm where it makes everything rattle in the car... I was just wondering of ne tips or tricks on how to cure this...

Is there a flex pipe in the exhaust?

                                WG placement is ehhhh

also, I'm amazed you can spool the turbo without the car falling on its face due to where you have the air meter. like, mine's in the stock location and it still spools fast enough to jam the VAF door open in first.
