Me vs 91 Civic w/ B18

yea it did...

i paid 300 for the entire car.... 65,000 miles... not bad

I didn't read all the posts (too lazy) anyways, In my experience I raced an eg hatch w/ b18a (ls motor) w/ i/h/e. We raced 3 times and we even switch cars and I still beat him. I have the same mod as ur but on my 323 not protege. I guess the weigh diffenrece plays too even tho it aint much of a difference...

an eg hatch compared to a 323 as far as weight, is probably pretty similiar to a 4th gen 4 door and my protege.

This guy still didnt think I could beat him, and challenged me 1 last time. We raced 4 times this time, and I won every time. First, I beat him by about a car, 2nd same results, 3rd, he had a pretty horrible launch so I beat him by 3-4 cars...and the last time i beat him by about a car again. Thats pretty cool, I was expecting alot more out of a B18. I always thought they were big bad ass engines....but ha the BP has the POWA!!

Thank you for giving the B16 some credit....most people think they are ****, but I like mine alot. I like to call it the "torqueless wonder" because it sucks ass in the low end, but up top....me likey.

i liked my b16 when I had my crx. Just swapped in it ran low 15s if I got good traction...nothing amazing....but quick. On my later crx when I turbo'ed it...man that thing moved. Just a basic T25 turbo, but it screamed when I got on her.

they arent the BEST motor out there, but extremely far from ****... and theres no argument there
