some of us may want to drive the long distances to get to hang out with people from the group in different parts of the US so if you hold two seperate meets try not to do it at the same time

Pleasure to meet you and had a great time with you and your companion.

This Idea is good also would like to add an Idea that may alow for more options; a quartering of the continental US. And Meeting North Eastern, South Eastern and so on. I may make it tougher on the Administrator to attend al those but then there are moderators in all regions, and we want to encourage also those out of country to feel welcome to attend our meets.

          Clairification on healthy adult Swims...

The 2 major water ways to be a concern are The Kentucky and Ohio Rivers. Also the far western swamp waters are for fishing not swimming. See the movie US Marshals with Tommy Lee Jones and Wysley Snipes.

Keep in mind for primitive vessel navigation Kentucky is #2 only to Alaska in the US.

Many Good water holes here, sorry I was so overwelmed at the beauty of the park in WI. That I did'nt say so much about the best swimming holes. Devil's Lake, it's a well kept secret.

DavidMW1 & i spoke of KY along one of the hikes he feels there are a few excellent places. altho we got into discussion about the idea of swimming in KY areas may not be the best for health (hrmm)

We may result in having 1 or 2 meets, just to cover the east/west coast differences. sad enough but more reasonable then trying to have members drive extensive distances.

i always do... who else would i speak for? you had a very long drive... but the fact is i saw many many people who would have shown up if they did not have to navigate the Rockies and 30+ hours of driving to make the meet. as bpt323 said in a post... "everyone is welcome" ...i wasn't thinking about it like that.. maybe i should?

agreed!! not only to meet the people but to have an opportunity to travel the country. i think the key to this is to find meets (such as the columbus meet for me) and take part in them too. columbus was before me but i wish i were there.. when's the next Turpro?

20 hours would have to be my cut off point also. when i make trips i don't like to stop... for my own safety i shouldn't ever plan a trip that will take over 20 hours. (i drive straight threw to ft. myers, florida almost every year and have driven straight to tyler / longview, texas several times)

You are correct on the ferry, but damn man the ferry at Lake WI was the bomb, doood! The Clays ferry is toll and it holds 3 cars, a limited weight, and the opeator was recently bribed with a beer. lol

What do you think of Cave Run Lake at Morehead, Ky. or Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, Ky. it's near the Corvette Musieum, Mamoth Cave is 18 miles away and Nashville, Tn is 48 Miles south.

You have very good ideas, Andrew.

Cave run is my Favorite and it is a National Park with 2 major camps. The southern (Zilpo camp ground) is the best for seclution, only drawback is sandals must be used on the beach there as the rocks are torture on the feet.

The rules are much as the same as The Devil's Lake SP.
Also if Cessna owners knew about our cars they would soon be buying Bombardier Lear Jets to fly to meets. As most Cessna owners I know own or their bank owns the Hummer or Escalde the drive to and from the office.

You are so correct about the UK night life, college eyecandy. WOO Woo!

You look like a guy my brother schooled with at UK????

            David
football? no. i did't always have the football body... i workout every other day now to lose the extra Andy... next time you see me i will be skinny again. (i was in a real bad wreck and bed ridden for over 8 months in June '05 with months of rehab to follow)

clay's ferry was always a lot of fun when friends from indiana would come down and i would take them for a horse country ride.

Cave Run Lake at Morehead, Ky. or Beech Bend Park in Bowling Green, Ky. = never been there... but i did take a childhood trip to Mammoth Cave... seclusion is a plus!! i have a couple friends that own cessna's either themselves or as groups... none of them would ever waste their money in such a horrible investment as a NEW high end car. they are all tight wads.

            UK nightlife... FTW!!!!

i didn't go to school at UK. my girlfriend at the time worked at the UK hospital and i was down there on contract work.

hope to see you all again in a year!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol awesome david... i'm so glad i met all you guys

where ever we do the next meet i think we should try and find a spot near where a current member is so they can help get things set up, easier in person than via phone and email

so we need to find a place that isn't a "park." just a lake, unknown, in the middle of nowhere. ....like most of Montana
No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

Devils lake park was just too big and crowded, for a while there you have to fight for a parking spot. And since I'm a noob the members just kinda blended in with the other park visitors. But I did see some club protege t-shirts on chairs.
i don't think that it was too big and crowded... we just need a major meet to be a little more put together.. this was the first meet so let the learning curve ensue i am having a large banner made and i think we should have a sign in list at the next meet...??

I want a decal of that Andy. I may use it as a sticky signature.

I had Tim and Ryan for Neighbors, I got dibs on all of us in the whole campground.

Every owner I met have some unique and special something to share to all about there passion in these lil ricers. We sorely missed the 2nd and 3rd genners. They have cool stuff too. Saw that at the spring meet.

Chris the weenie, weenied out on us.

Tim, I enjoyed the time we had too. But I must say that you and the Ms. were not make the bacon...you were cookin the bacon. In the south that means boinkin (makin Bacon). I almost cried keeping from laughing out loud. And you guys had to decipher my accent?? We had much fun!

                              I like the banner idea.

Next year I'll come by my self. I was with a buddy who was more interested in going moutain biking.

For those who dont know me, I have 2 turbo charged Escorts one has a 2.0 SOHC swap the other a hybrid motor, one stock one, and one I did a Zetec swap to (but sold that one).
