Thanks man, I suppose I threw laying low out the window now, but I really enjoy being able to see more than 10 ft in front of me now at night.

the headlight polish only lasts so long before they yellow again, plus I got a great deal on the headlights from a forum member over at fordaspire.com.

what did you do to for the brake upgrade? i have the aspire brakes on my festy and would like to upgrade those just for the cool factor. i have a proto lx parts car. any chance that is what you used?

just new 5 speed aspire rotors (lighter) and protege LX or escort GT or 4wd protege front calipers. you will need to run at least 14's with the calipers.

I run 15's but would like to use the protege rotors, if possible.

won't work unless you turn down the diameter of the rotor or make brackets to space the caliper out further. the aspire hub just mounts differently. if you use capri hubs up front and use your aspire center hub with the capri bearings and spindle you can use XR2 brakes.

get rid of the aspire ass end too, and itll look even better, i like that last pic too tho. looking good man.....

Still working on a rear lip for it, and I want to smooth out the hatch and build some sort of custom tail lights.

probably the biggest would be 17's. 205 45's i believe, I am not sure. I am going to rock 14" steelies for a while with this one. 185 65 14's

Very Kool build you have going. How much does a Aspire weight anyway?? Thinkin' it will be a rocket.

on the title it weighs 1983 lbs, mine put on a little more weight so I am looking at a little over a ton, I don't want a super fast purpose racer, I am building to maximize comfort and looks inside, a little muscle under the hood, and subtle but nice exterior mods (i.e. front bumper, rear lip, and some 3rd gen taurus rocker guards for side skirts). I probably won't paint this one because there is a lot of rust on the unibody. if I am going to hack it up to fix the rust I will mount up my Miata independent rear suspension and make some tube frame for the rear to replace the unibody.

car has changed huuuuge! I was wondering what the 626 wheel and multi function switches and such were for haha.

car looks great, and those headlights look mean as hell on the car with that outback bumper...

I'd definitely add a small lip to the hood to cover up the headlight to hood gap.

I have the swap the plugs around on the end of the multi function switch so I can hook that up too and have me some delay wipers again :D
