its cool man, I am just really curious.

one more panel painted:



finally did something about those gaping holes in the front bumper



6" hellas 500 series.

and just a small teaser pic of them mocked up. hopefully I can get them installed this weekend.



I also put in a new head unit. the stock am fm only one was getting old...

did a lot of interior related work today.



everything is painted but the dash and consoles.

a few shots of the bracketry and cougar seat install with the seat removed to see how its setup:

I will clean up the rust and paint the brackets my next day off hopefully.

It was late when I finished up so the shots are a little dark, but fully installed!





next up is the rear seat! once its done I'll have a split fold rear and a cup holder for the rear passenger!

no updates on the hellas install, I wanted to get as much painted while the weather was still nice.

get ur self an mx3 leather shift bot. thats what i put in mine it looks way nicer than the rubber one

did you get a short shifter too? I am thinking I will keep the stock height, the cougar seats sit up a little higher and it would be tough to reach the shifter.

Its hard to come by decent MX-3's in the yards around here.

yeah i have a civic short throw. its sits about level with my mx3 seats. Im hitting up the yards thursday ill look for a boot for you

worked on my back seat today, stripped the upholstery off the stock seat frame and attached the cougar seat base to the aspire frame base.







installed the painted plastics, everything is redone except for the dash and center consuls.







got these today :D test fit them just need a few bolts to install them tomorrow night :D



92-95 honda civic headlights, can't wait to be able to see at night and not have my lights go yellow

I installed the headlights for the most part. I need to add another bracket and aim them a little better.

those look good but how are you going to fix the place in the bumper where you had to cut it?

I am going to fiberglass it and then smooth it out with resin and filler. I just haven't had the time/desire to mess the ooey gooey stuff right now.

hmm I'll think about it, I was going to weld something to my hood to give it the angry look.

I trimmed up the grill and installed the last couple brackets to properly fix the headlights in place.



As you can see, proper eyelids are going to be next on my to do list, along with installing my hella's, the rear bumper lip finishing, and fiberglassing that front bumper seam.

I also did a little experimenting with my dremel tool and a cracked up Escort GT grill.



I may cut it up further and see if I can make it sit flush into the grill and then fiberglass it in there.

It captures a lot of the unique facets of my car, the Legacy outback bumper, civic projector headlights, the BP, and the 14" wheels and upgraded brakes. For some reason I really like the black steelie looks.
