But something sad happened last night and I now know why it was getting progressively slower. I spun a rod bearing on cyl 6. Most likely why I was throwing a knock sensor code.

So I will be pulling the motor and rebuilding soon already.

it was a free motor so I can't be too mad. Lol pictures later.

Thought about it. But it's also got 136k and a blown HG. So I don't want to go through this again 3 months down the road.

So I'm doing a complete rebuild with brand new internals. Or get some used ZE pistons with brand new rods to bump up the compression.

According to ACL the k8 and the kl use the same bearings? I want ACL but can only find them for the k8 on eBay.

I thought bearings were the same but can't guarantee that. Did the US MX6 come with the KLDE as most of the ones we have here are KLZE ???
