I have thought about doing this a million times over, using miata running gear, cutting out a tranny tunnel and using a gtx rear set up, but the fronts.....could knock the ends off of the cv joints and keep them stock. It would look normal....muahhahahhahah.

if i ever were to go RWD, i would do it the way the del-sol was done. otherwise its staying FWD or i'd go AWD.

Yeah, converting to a rear engine set up would be pretty awesome, making a rear deck cover, side scoops for cooling and intake, run the radiator piping down the middle to the back like a fiero.....all these ideas. Sorry bout moving away from the original thread spirit!

This reminds me of my 323. I love my 323, I'm looking to get jdm clear headlights for it, they want like $40, I was also considering the miata rwd swap, it would be pretty awesome, i'm gonna go to some junkyards looking for gtx parts though, haha. I really wanna swap the gtx front and read bumpers to my car.
