Oh alright. Everyone I know goes to emery in buff for their talons etc and rather not pay the redic mark up on turbo goodies there. Hav to look around I guess. Just never trust eBay on anything important

nothing against emery but hes expensive. pauls chill enough to work with you especially if you're buying all your build parts from him

oh yes emery is lol. why hoping to find a different place.

side thought, and lack of knowledge on these motors but im trying, is the gtx motor basically same thing with different compression and stronger parts? or totally different material size internals etc? didnt know if could just buy gtx stock pistons/rods and gain the power and strength a gtx offers

ya pumer, i sent him here hes gona be my helper soon...

and luke i really dont know why you keep going to swerve, i know its the nyspeed thing to do but come on....if your out to just support a shop, go for it, but theres no reason to waste money where it can easily be saved shopping around... the only thing they even have for my car worth buying is the gates blue t belts, the rest is way over priced... whats his name with the 700+hp bmw there who knows about ms is the only reason ive used them... they got a whole 120 out of me for 2 belts....lol....

oh and who told you 900hp on the rods, im going to make a wild guess and say swerve right.....honestly they know subi's and honda's and some dsm but mazda isnt even on their mind, they know we dont have a market here for it, hell even the miata guys are smarter than that... btw find me after school one of these days ****er....

Honestly if I would do it all over again, a Miata all the way.

The video says it all. He is in for a fight at around the 4 minute mark on the video.

got all the galley plugs out and measured the crank yesterday. everythings perfect so sometime this week its going in the oven and will come out looking brand new for next week

only thing im not sure of is if i have the long nose or short nose crank. i know you can tell the difference from the bolt but cant seem to find the link to what they both look like anywhere. any help? and is all the long nose/short nose stuff total BS or what?

now what you really want to get your hands on is a forged crank that i believe cam out of a protege gt

the big nose has the large bolt where you can't pull the timing belt off over it. the small, you can do timing without removing it.
