Well, got most of the last things needed before I can drop it in. Front bracket w/mount bolted on along with rear tranny bracket/mount. Replaced old oil pressure sender with new aftermarket one for my cool gauge. Forgot to put the coolant line back on, so Ill have to do that and then its time to bolt it down and start wiring it up. Also removed my front bumper (which was wood screwed to the support brace because previous owner was a ****ing moron and hit something and covered it up with sparkly paint) and headlights so the intercooler kit (that should be delivered any time today between 7am-9pm) will be a breeze to install. I also have to wire in the injectors, any tips on that? Should I try to solder them (would be my first attempt at soldering) in or can I just butt crimp them together?

        for the injectors, do this:

read the "SPLICING SMALLER GAUGE WIRES" section, you want to twist them together. its a piece of cake and is 100x better than a crimp connector

btw i want to see that video

          Alright, cool.

The vid is still on my phone, I just got to get it to a computer. The vid is too large to send via message. I could prolly email it to your from my phone, but itll have to wait till I get out of work regardless.

So is the BP slave cylinder diff then the b6? It doesnt seem long enough? Maybe it needs to be bled or something?

edit: btw, the motor is now bolted in. =]

the b6 slave should be much different.... short of that tho. i've had shortness issues even on a BP slave. thus a minor mod to the pushrod of the slave

Yea I need to find a speedo sensor/cable/cluster that all match. I guess Ill just have to see what I can do with this slave then, or grab a new one or one from the junk yard. Time to start connecting all the hoses/wires.

Haha I know! I thought it was going to be a direct swap. Ill get it all bolted down and get all the vac hoses connected and see if I bleed it, if it will work.

Soldered up all but one injector. First time soldering. Very ****ty job, but the connections seem secure. Have to tackle the last one when I get a chance. The pigtails are super short. Figure out a couple mystery wires and double check everything. Run some oil and the old filter in it, coolant, spark plugs/wires. Intercooler set up, I need to get some sort of outlet pipe.
