The thing is that I'm still not 100% on where we are meeting Mike and the crew. If its near Wet 'n' Wild, then it's only 2 hours from my house.

Well, I figure it will take us an hour from the Turkey Lake rest are to Wildwood, then another hour to Ocala. So I thought about meeting at the Turkey Lake Rest Area about 8am, leaving no later than 8:15. Figured we could meet up the witht eh Tampa peeps coming up 75 about 9:15am and then heading up to Ocala getting there at 10am.

      How does that sound?

Well, when you have a big group coming to your business you would like to be prepared and since we are going to be using their facilities (pavilion, etc) they would like to have a set time when we will be there. That time is apparantly 10:30-?? If you want to come later, that is up to you.

                      Some New Info:

                      1. Catering has been ordered. Slight changes to the menu include replacing corn with coleslaw as one of the side dishes (corn was not available) and beverage choices are Sweetened or Unsweetened Iced Tea (No Lemonade). If you want something different to drink, then bring your own. Ice and Cups will be available.

                      2. Lunch will be served at approx. 12 noon. They needed a time we would pick it up, so I told her about 11:30am. So until we get it all set up, Figure 1/2 hour or so.

                      3. If you have not signed up for this meet yet and are planning on attending, please sign up asap at http://cflprotege.com/promazda.htm

                      4. If you have signed up, but have yet to pay for food (you know who you are!), please contact me asap regarding payment or go here for payment options:

                      Any questions?

Mike..... I read your email & post and have a concern and would like to clarify it.
As I thought we had agreed a while ago the rendezvous between the Orlando & South Florida crews would be at 9.15am at Turkey Lake. Then depart from there at 9.30 sharp to meet up with the Tampa crew. Please let me know what going on...
The 10 people in our convoy are eagerly looking forward to ride with everyone else to Ocala as I have promised we would. I know i'll be pretty diappointed if this is not going to be the case.
Please let me know. Thanks Mike...

BTW I did all the driving/time calculations:
*Leaving Pompano Svc. Plaza at 7am sharp and @ 80mph AVG. it takes exactly 2-1/2 hrs. to get to Turkey Lake Plaza (and without tickets )
*Leaving Turkey Lake at 9.30am sharp and @ 80mph AVG. it takes a 1/2 hr. to get to Wildwood/I-75 exit (and without tickets )
*Leaving Wildwood/I-75 exit at 10am and @ 70mph AVG. it takes a 1/2 hr. to get to Don Garlits = arrival at 10.30am as planned.
