964's are sexy and relatively cheap. My white 911 in the above picture is 964 powered, dat twin plug!
I'm just thinking with an EFR i could have the world's most ridiculous midrange in a 4cylinder motor attached to the F2T.

It's way too early to worry about anything like that, though. First step is getting the motor actually mounted in the car. I'd like to make 400whp AND hit full boost by 3000rpms. I don't think it's impossible with the right turbo pushing a crapload of boost on an F2.

Go sequential twins. A nice little BB unit feeding an HX40 or something ridiculous like that. That would be a laugh.

And Ian, if you find that Boxter thread, let me know. I couldn't find anyone that had done it when I was considering.

I DID think of a compound turbo setup. Could be fun. The "problem" is that it would have to be bigger than an HX40 to bother. The F2 spools an HX40 pretty well on its own.

Nice. After reading that, it's apparent that the VW 1.9 tdi bolts right up to a Boxter transmission. That would be something.

I'm not sure which would make more sense as an eventual project / classy car, 928 or 914... I want both.

oh yeah, LS power for sure.

I was worried the first time I drove one that it would be one of those "never meet your heroes" experiences, but I just ended up wanting the car that much more.

it's weird, because for the most part I really dislike Porsches.

Belts and oil change for the Avalanche.
Tomorrow morning before work will probably be plugs and wires.
The T3 BP MX-3 conversion has begun, and is taking forever & will kill me.
