        Do all the GTX's come with the 1.8 BP making 180 HP? I was reading and one place said it came with the B6T, 1,6 making 130 Hp. Would a 88 GTX make 130 or 180?

        Thanks.

            The BF GT/GT-X is 132hp stock. The BG GT/GTX is 180, and the GT-R is 210.

            BF = B6T, BG = BPT.

            Ofcourse in the US only a few BFs are B6Ts, most are just B6s, and BG 323s are B6s as well.

            1994 Protege BP-Turbo.....1994 Miata Supercharged.....2003 Protege5 stock DD.....1988 323 GT Turbo

                  Now that cant be right. I believe the GTX is 175 and GTR 210. The gtr runs 4psi more, higher compression, better flow head, larger intercooler......thats gotta be more than 20hp diffrence.

                    Can you read this, it's in German, but it says 185Bhp (185PS) for the GT-R

                        jdm > edm

                        Talk to lex, he was having issues b/c he had a bp-55 ecu (edm) and he said his setup didnt seem as strong as it should.

                        Either way, still love both those cars.

                              The GTR doesn't have higher compression - it's actually lower if I remember correctly.

                              As far as edm and jdm, the only difference I know for sure between the two ECUs is that the edm one has a lower fuel cut than the jdm one. Anything else hasn't been proven and is just speculation at this point.

                                GTR is the same as the GTX afaik. The FAQ says that the BPc8 has the same 8.2:1 so I would go with that.

                                Lower fuel cut, and I would be willing to bet that the fuel maps are meant for lowere octane fuels as well.
