Well first i tried to bolt the TQ converter to the flywheel and slide it on.. well then I looked in the chilton's manual and it said you put the converter into the trans then put it together. and Idk I might, but im going to start getting pieces for a manual swap anyways so it might not be worth it. as for fluid i have no idea, Whats a good one thats not too pricey.

i have a junkyard oil cooler off a van, you can have it to keep the auto alive. also if you want i can start gathering tidbit for the swap when i goto the yard. we can sort out the money stuff later.

hmm. Well when I come down to drop off the Chilton Ill pick the cooler up. and Ill just wait till theres a 5spd pro around the yard here. Im not in any hurry to pull the engine again.. lol

Yesterday i was ready to drive it and then found that the spider gears in the diff fell down so i had to pull the engine again. well i just swapped on the trans that ryan brought. Today i bolted the new trans to the engine and dropped it in and got everything all together.. well ryan(BPT323) came over and helped me re-pin my harness since it was from an egt and finally got the car running but it was running rough. i couldnt drive it though because the tie rod ends were shot and we couldnt get them to thread the castle nuts. gotta wait till tomorrow morning to get some new ones.

we got it running last night but it was rough.. went to start it this morning and nothing but im going to get some more gas cause theres like none in the tank.. lol

atleast its alive.... dont just rev the crap out of it till its been ran a bit, maybe even go drive around a while and change the oil again for the hell of it....

yep. and ill get the tie rods tuesday and put them on later that night then drive it around.. probably change the oil the next wednesday.

well I'd be happy right now If it started good.. to get it to start I have to rotate the dizzy all the way towards the fire wall then start it(while pumping gas pedal) then rotate it back to where it was.. Anyone have any idea what that could be?
btw, ryan i poured 8oz on marevel mystery oil in the crank case and the lifters stopped ticking 100%

make sure the timing marks are all lined up on the t belt. one tooth is like 16 degrees i think, its been a while since i looked... i had that problem before and one of my cams slipped....
