I'd post pics of the oulet pipe, but it's pretty...umm...beastly lol. The inside is smooth and consistent, so that's all that matters to me lol no one sees the damn short pipe anyways.

oh hey, forgot to say I received my T3 adapter plate today came with all the hardware too! Figured I will put this to use next winter, along with a 5 bolt T3 maybe T3/T4, something that is able to spool relatively quick but have the potential to push me past 300whp. But I'm having difficulty finding a T3 with a 48 a/r exhaust with a larger compressor side, they all seem to be 42 a/r @ the compressor...

I made that mistake once, got lucky and only lost my thumbnail to the grinder. That focker hurt like a somebiatch for like two months. Deffinately wear gloves now! I guess you could say it left a real impression on me!
Builds looking awesome! Can't wait for it to be done and hear it on boost!

Ya all I've been doing lately is bleeding it seems haha.

I slipped on ice getting out of the Protege about a week ago and ended up SLAMMING my right index finger into the top right corner of the drivers door and tore off my finger print lol...then the friggen grinder now!

I can barely work right now haha, all the damage on my fingers extends to the sides and the joints, so everytime I loosen a bolt it burns like a whore and starts bleeding all over haha. Its awesome.

well got my fancy coupler in today, I'm going outside to fit it to the car, I'll probably have to shorten the 1.75" end about 2" for it to clear everything lol...

So expect pics today, but not quite right now since it's still -6 out lol which is around 21*F!

so here's the coupler with about 2" trimmed off the smaller inlet



test fit with a 45 degree pipe



the only problem so far is the clutch line bracket, which isn't even tight, so I'll grind the end off the stud once it's tight and I should be good to go

nice distance away from the charge pipe to mount a BOV



massive air filter installed (velocity stack inside )





plenty of room for my future air box, just threw some cardboard over it to show that lol



timing belt gear = BOV placement (for pic sake) with the 2 bolts showing the direction the outlet faces. So the BOV will be pointing upwards on a 45 degree angle or so



silicone intake systems sticker custom fit lol (was a square sticker originally)

With all that clearance and room you made it looks ease of mind to work on when needed. Great work on that.
I always wanted an intake box when my intake was in that spot. looks cleaner and performs better.

There definitely is a lot of room to work on things, which I'm a big fan of as well lol never know when you'll have to get in there when it's real hot and I like having skin on my hands (well most of my skin it seems lol)

Dont take a chance with that clutch line- just cut off the stud & leave the line hang. it wont' hurt anything
