Jack there is a cleaning solution we use to get the stains out of plastic tub dishwashers called Ysano might be able to find it @ the local crappy tire.

just be sure the water is smoking hot when you use it .. should come out fine

yea im gonna try to clean it up as best as i can...worse case i'll boil it lol.

But i'll be running the Escort LX coolant and washer resevoir so i'll have more space for my intake piping on the left side....

The washer resevoir mounts against the firewall and the coolant resevoir mounts where the old washer resevoir was in the right fender pocket.

well it's 6:20am here ans this is what the front of the front pipe looks like...you can see the difference on the flex joint lol. go vinegar!

other end is in, then i'll clean it up as best as i can, then spray bomb it high temp flat silver probably...same with the n/a exhaust manifold eventually...or i'll have it sandblasted lol, its pretty bad.

I wonder how bad the vj-20 will be with the stock exhaust lol, think it'd melt the cat?

nope shouldn't affect it, what are you thinking of soaking?

you use vinegar to clean out kitchen and bathroom appliances, like dishwashers, washer machines, ect

well its another crappy day outside, no worky for jack

have a coffee can of hardware sitting on the stove in vinegar, so i'll have LOTS of nuts and bolts for the re-installation of everything...i just changed over the solution this morning and they're about 80% clean.

also ordered a SS clutch line with red coating for $25 shipped

im so happy to see the car getting treated like its supposed to! i skimmed thru it all but did you paint the whole car or just start off with the engine bay?

                        Comment

just the bay for now, i wanted to get the car ready for its drivetrain...i think i'll slowly work on the body over the summer...but paint won't come til next year unless i get a good deal lol.

Also got the power steering lines installed, i've decided i'm going to paint the lower 1/2 of the reservoir black, so that'll be installed tomorrow probably.

also fuel filter and brackets, charcoal canister bracket, and a few other things.

Here's my ghetto hood release mod, its bent to the perfect place and works like a charm! Reason for this is the difference from the 90-93 hood VS the 94 hood.

Also started tucking my harness! Left fender harness almost complete. The fuse box wiring is all in the car and at the needed length to reach the glove box

Ok well I'm going to try to finish the left fender wire tuck tomorrow, I've already modified the glove box (yea i know, i said i wouldn't...) to house the fuse box and modified the cover so it just snaps on instead of swings. No pics atm...it's all in the car.

I've just got to make sure i've got all the fuse box wires inside the car before i button it up...so i'm off to the wreckers to take pictures and ID various plugs.

Also since Joseph removed the a/c stuff behind the glove box I've got to pick up the non a/c piece tomorrow as well so I can assembly the dash and leave it lol.

i just found some 0g wiring so i can use that for my battery + and - since the + will need to be extended from the glove box to the battery's temp location (trunk after safety)
