92dx- thanks man! i plan on having the car etested/certified (doesn't have to look pretty) in about 10-12 weeks. It'll probably be boosted shortly after that, I'm still about $250-300 away from that.

escortfan - hey burlington! not too far! thanks for the idea. Yea i need a 90degree 1.75-2.5" reducer and things will be golden there. What can you get them for? cheapest i've seen shipped online are like $35.

haha yea, trust me man, what's worse than not having a BG, is having one you can't really work on!!! haha, i'm way too picky and won't even purchase my engine til the front end has been disassembled/cleaned/painted lol.

yep exactly, i didn't really want the sweeping LED motion compared to the Digital display...this one has both. So maybe I can mask off the sweep motion lol, i find it annoying....maybe if my car had a digital cluster.

My AEM has both displays too, surprisingly it is not distracting. Every passenger notices it though.

yea haha, im going to use the 30% fade option though, i dont need bright lights distracting me TOO much haha.

Eventually going to get the matching electric oil pressure and vac/boost gauge

but i'm making an order w/ rockauto tomorrow for the following things:

axle seals x 2
fuel injector seal kit
exhaust manifold gasket (@ cyl head)
front pipe gaskets f&r
clutch release bearing (using miata clutch kit)
intake manifold gaskets up/lower
tb gasket
oil pan gasket w/ silicone

getting this shipped to a place in MI. I've got a friend going to visit, so they said i could ship it there! Save soooo much on shipping!

Whats this 30% fade option?

you hook the orange wire up your headlights (12v), so when you turn them on it will darken the gauge 30% over its normal brightness
