Feeling pretty hopeless right now. I took the starter to autozone and had it tested. Everything checked out ok. I put it back in and checked the power, got 12v. Checked the ignition wire, got 12v on that when it's switched. Started It with a screwdriver between the terminals but it still won't start with the key. I'm at a loss.

Yea but it's getting 12v. There are only two wires going to it right? Trigger wire and battery cable. My only concern is that the trigger wire is getting 12v when the key is in the on position. I don't really get that, I would think it should only get 12v when it's in the starting position? I think I'm just going to get a push button and run two wires up so I can start it. Right now I just need to drive it.

have you triple checked all of your grounds? the main ground point on the transmission will cause it to not start. If you haven't changed anything with the wiring it will start.

I have the main ground on one of the transmissions bolts. Not sure where the exact ground is but that should work fine.

I got it started! Whew, it was the wiring after all. Now I need to fix the shifter from falling through the floor.

Well the car is running and drivable. I replaced the pcv valve but it still stalls at idle. Also the car feels like it doesn't have any power at all. I took these two videos while driving.

This one I'm driving and both times when accelerating I'm at full throttle in second shifting to third.

This one I just started the car. I need to press the gas when starting and it idles really low, however I have the idle screw backed out all the way. If I let off the gas it dies.

Maybe it's going slow because you had your ebrake on lol jk....

Check your timing, and for vacuum leaks, it seems like you need to advance the timing a bit....

Well I couldn't tell before I rebuilt the engine because it was overheating and leaking oil everywhere. I was thinking it may be the ignition timing as well. Yea for some reason the brake light is on as well, all the calipers are ok but the front rotors are warped really bad.

ahh, understood. If it was a gasket/belt job then I'd check your timing at the gears and then make sure the disti is adjusted more advanced than retarded.

Well I advanced the disi all the way and it runs a lot better. My guess is some néw plugs and wires will help a lot. That cap and rotor are shot as well. But the motor is doing great, no leaks and runs pretty smooth.

Same butt test. I feels really restricted above 6k. I this because of the stock intake system?

ya car still seems real slow to me. Also if you're distributor is fully advanced, there's a problem lol. You're probably running over 20 degrees of timing right now.

I'd check your timing belt and make sure it's lined up...your intake cam might be off

I'll try that. I aligned them with the arrows up like the manual said. Anyone know if that's the right way for these motors.
