I bought my progressive lowering springs for $99 shipped. Not all that stiff, but not soft either. Perfect for DD, and the g/f doesn't complain.
Where did you get progressive springs for 99 shipped?

no, the ZX2 struts themselves have too much rebound. which creates a rock type of effect in the cabin. making it feel harsher then it really is.

oh! ok, now I'm getting what you're saying. So I'd be better off with a different type of strut with the H&R springs? But I wonder if that will still be rough.

I wonder what ZX tuner lowering springs and sprint struts would feel like. they are inexpensive, and according to the zxtuner site, they ride pretty good. And the struts are dirt cheap, but still marketed as performance struts.

I saw those Sprint XS struts...supposed to be equal to KYB from what I've read up on them a few months ago...still not sure if I'd trust them at that cheap of a price tho haha.

well, everyone, I might not be replacing the car after all. My parents HATE the 323 (My mom has back problems and can't ride in it and my dad hates it because it has manual steering, and has shoulder problems, so he can't drive it. ) and they want me to sell it instead of replacing the struts. I know someone with a zx2 SR that he said he'd sell me if I want it, and it's much newer than the 323. So I think I might be selling the 323 and buying the SR. Not what I want to do at all, but my parents are saying it's their way or the car gets parked. I'm going to try and convince them not to make me sell it, but just in case I have to, is there any interest? I won't make a fs thread yet, because it's not a for sure thing, but I'd like to know if there is any interest. It needs new struts and an alignment. Maybe tires. (depending on if I can find a used front set to throw on. ) I'm hoping to get what I paid for it, as I have fixed it up quite a bit since I got it. It gets an easy 35 mpg on highway and city combined.

well, I just rolled the 323's fenders. Now I don't have the tire rubbing when I go around the corners hard. And I actually might be able to keep the car. I think I'll be keeping the H&R springs on it and just replacing the struts and get a set of camber bolts and then have the thing aligned and hope the tire wear problems stop.

you shouldn't need camber bolts for H&Rs.

Well, it has lots of camber. (Especially the passenger side!) After looking at the strut towers, I think that the suspension got bent in a collision and that is why it is so bad. Oh well, I just hope the camber bolts help. Here are some pics.

check your toe too, and make sure your mounts are turned properly to adjust camber.

                                +1 on checking toe

my MX3 has plenty of negative camber and I don't have the wear problems you do
