Installed new front LCA bushings. The original front bushings on the arms weren't that bad, but the rear ones were pretty laughable.

Nice design on those stock rears too: egg-shaped bushing in cylindrical sleeve, with airgap on 2 sides. I didn't realize that much suckage was engineered into the bushing from the factory.

i picked up a new transmission, it needs some cleaning before it goes in, i may pull it apart to weld the diff pin but probably not. im not modding the 323 anymore so theres no need for all that extra work .

Yeah, I went the cheapest route possible. I needed a new set of front pads and I really need to get some braided SS lines as well. I also may be looking at a new set of tires. I've got 4 more track days scheduled. My current ones will probably not last that long. On top of that I've got to pick up new snows for the ice-racing season. The list goes on and on.

Now I'll be able to run over the curbs and rumble strips at NHIS without having to listen to "clunk...clunk" all the time.

took my car to the machine shop this morning.... dissasembled the wastegate took out the seat & the valve... had the 45° recut on both of them so they seat. water tested & vacum tested to hold now i've found that the exhaust has quite alot of extra pressure coming back upstream do to it not being flanged together & there being a catalytic converter in the way. the exhaust is just bouncing back & coming up the wastegate tube & pouring out up by the wastegate!!!! one can only imagine what thats doing to my spool time time to cut more exhaust tubing out

what kind of wastegate did you use?

maybe its due to the fact you need to gut your cat unless its a highflow

its s 3" catco on a 2.5" exhaust & its not clogged. i never noticed any issues prior to this, but then again i've had a fully sealed exhaust.... i think thats the real key to figuring it out. the pulsing is related, without a doubt to the reverb of the exhaust.... i plan to cut more off & call it good

Did he use that gasket when he "gasket matched it" for ya???? Looks kind of like a crappy job if he did. Might want to take it back and have him fix that. Other than that it looks good.
