My Protege is easily the Ugliest Protege on the board
It is flat black
I may be the only one with Genie headers (anyone else)
When i turn my steering wheel, the signal lights automatically come on

It makes alot of noise when im driving

I don't own my protege, my dad does.
Rebuilt my front end in 2 days for $300 after rear ending an Explorer.
Only 1st gen in the US with a full GTR motor swap.
4th owner of my car.
And last but not least, my car came from the dealership Turbo1g works at.

My F tranny Gears in the protege are so long that I need a turbo to help the BP sipher throught them quicker.

my car sets off alarms due to hesitation and the rediculously loud fart cannon on the back! the passenger side looks like a bunch of hoodlums did a BB gun drive by (door dings). my car is a former resident of chicago (it had a cubs and bulls sticker on it when i go it), and it is one of three 1st genners around me. the other two are lx autos and the owners don't want to sell them due to them being "a good work car". ass's!! anywho, will have a "drift" kit produced for my pro, and a new set of 16" five star rims soon. and not to mention that (this probably doesn't happen, but just to me), my shifter fell through the floor and now rest on the exhuast! i have to lift it to shift. i suk!

Timing belt went on my red Protege, contrary to popular fact, the valves got all smashed to bits. Months after the reworked head went back on the car leaked massive amounts of oil that caught on fire when some mysterious part of the axle ground up enough spark to ignite it. The firemen showed up promptly and smashed the rest of it to bits. The end.
