Well, for the last little while, I didn't get to work on the install as much as I wanted. That all changed last weekend and this weekend. A couple of my friends came over to help me to get it all done, well as far as we could go becasue it has to go to a shop to get the exhaust and i/c piping routed and welded. Here is where we stand as off tonight.

Thanks to Matt, Jamie and Laurie for the help too, it wouldn't be this far if I didn't have "Motivators"!!

This is a shot to show the clearance between the rad and turbo

I will get more pics as soon as the piping is done.

the clearance is insane VS a 323 or protege!! cut your cam cover so you can slip fit it in for timing then remove it, it severely cleans up the appearance of the engine bay.

Nothing got done for the last while becasue I took a transfer to another plant that is 2 hrs away from where I live and work backshifts. I found out today that I am getting another transfer to a plant that is only 30 mins from my home in a few weeks, so I should be able to get some stuff done once that goes through.

Smoke, what do you want to know about the return line?

are you going to be running braided line and an fittings for the return line

                      Comment

No, the return line is not pressurized so there is no need for it. It drains via gravity so any hose will do......just using the barbed nipple, a couple hose clamps and some clear hot water hose so I can make sure that the oil is running.

well, according to my old supervisor, I should be getting another transfer closer to home and I will be just working 8-5 monday to friday and weekends off. He said I should get a letter around the 15th, so if everything goes right, I should be able to finish it within the next couple months and take it to JD Racing to dyno tune it for me.

                            Be patient grasshopper......lol!!
