There is an advantage for track use too, it solidifies the suspension, taking the flex of the rubber bushings out of the motion in corners. The set-up I built/build, to replace an rod cost about $12 plus shipping from a circle track supplier, the rod ends run anywhere from $12 to $35 each depending on the grade you want.

This setup also free's up the motion and allows the strut/spring combo to control the wheel without the binding---This translates into incrementally more "feel"/control in the middle of a corner...

Between my last post and after lunch we pulled the motor/trans, seperated them and put on the fidanza alum flywheel/clutch. Sending the trans over to have the Kaaz LSD installed (rally version 60% lockup) and then should pop everything back in next week.

Not too bad for an afternoon!!!!! Now if I could only get my car to go this fast!!!

Not sure what clutch it is actually, I'm thinking it's either an excedy or spec---but not entirely sure-it was pretty new so we just changed the flywheel. KAAZ does make a diff for the G series with a 28 spline center. I've sold several of them through my shop now---actually just found out they make one for the late model Boxster/Cayman 5 & 6 speeds. I'm always surprised how similar everything is inside...

I told this forum a year ago KAAZ had a diff for us, but NOBODY believed me... I've got a list somewhere (from the previous owner of that car) that says what that clutch disk and PP is, but don't remember off hand.

p.s. THE CAR IS SOOO PINK!!!

Yes-I can do a bolt in cage---it would be better if it was part bolt in and part weld in though---Pm me Lex and we'll talk about what specifically you need-we can swap out products if you like...

Motor and trans are back in with the KAAZ LSD installed---no issues. Put one of the mx3 rear braces on and got carried away with the paint...Do you think the customer would get pissed if I made his rear arms look like candy canes??!!

Isn't the rear tie bar sort of useless with heim joint TTL's? There's no rubber bushings to be flexing anymore.

If I'm thinking about it correctly the tie bar bolts to the "bolts" on the stock crossmember/inner arm pivots---not sure it has much effect on the stock bushings or the rod ends for that matter...
