no u are wrong. i have a 96 and its different between the 95-96 and 97-98. 97-98 has 1157 and 95-96 is 168 , i pulled the corner light off and took the bulb out and its 168.

well then all 95-96 proteges must have "crappy" corner lights (like they do anything anyway) then. Im gonna go "buy" sum 168s tomoro at auto advance or autozone. ill post night pics with the brighter bulbs. headlight bulbs is what matters in a car H4. im runnin luminics ultra white 60/55w bulbs.

Snapped my alt belt while going to the store. Skipped the store and drove to the closed auto parts store. Made it home then had a friend bring me to buy the alt belt. Got back home popped to hood, looked at it, closed the hood. Tomorrows a new day.

wow.. i member last year when i snapped my belts..
it was cold and i guess they were too tight, so it kind of shrunk a bit then snapped

figure ill post here for once. not something i did to one of my cars, but a customers car. we got a new customer today, hes been at the dealer, and about 6 other shops around here. he had 2 o2 codes and a boost sensor code. well every shop told him the o2's were bad, and the ecu, and this and that, hes spent about 1200 bucks buying parts since it wouldnt pass last year, from what he told me. well i get the vac gauge out and start off checking the vac, one port was 22"hg and another was only 8".... funny... well i pull off the egr seeing the port i tested was behind it and i couldnt for the life of me poke threw it.. well 2 bolts broke trying to take the egr off, good thing too i probably wouldnt have found it as easy, but the 2 runners for the egr that go in behind the throttle body were just covered over, i cleaned out one went to blow threw it with some air, and it was clogged again.... thaught i was done for a second there, well after i filled the ports with carb cleaner and some other intake cleaner from a can we use, i finally sprayed myself with a missing egr port....lol.... well after that one, i dunked it for an hour in some cleaner heated and removed the 2 egr bolts, and put it all back together. that thing ran soo much stronger than when i drove it this morning, whole new car.... way peppier and for a 1.5 dohc, it actually had a little power...

so for you bh guys with the p1195 code, and a few o2 codes, take some time, pull it all apart and clean everything very very well, if you really want, get new soft plugs and super clean everything , you can actually reach all of the port that way, in all its weird shapes and bends...lol... if youve actually looked at the routing of the egr port, who ever designed the casting should be shot, its just not right....lol...

well thats enough for me, back to the bg section .... have fun guys....

Well i washed my car 2day and took off the trunk mazda logo and cleaned it then sanded it then cleaned again. Then 3x black and 4x clear.

Also a pic of my clubprotege decal on my rear window.
My mazda speed logo shud b commin anyday now so ill post a pic when i get it.
