Pulled over to take a phone call the other day. Turns out the side of the road wasn't solid, it was mud. Was stuck for at least 30 minutes before my dad could get there with his truck to pull me out. Still need to get it washed too.

A few days ago I finished retrofitting a set of clear headlight lenses. I just got my new projectors that I will be retrofitting to the housings!

where u get the bulbs @ .. Whats the bulb code h4 or ?

I beleive the clear lenses are JDM City Lights, but I made a set of my own.

corner lights are 1157 as it is a dual filament that comes on and then another filament flashes with indicator

jdm city lights are the 194 bulbs that come with jdm headlights.

make sure u get a dual filament one for the markers..
or the brake / runners for the back

single filament is just for rear indicators

PIAA is a well known brand and good bulbs.. IMO 14.99 is kinda expensive.. for some indicator bulbs.

Yesterday and today we replaced the engine, and I took it for a test run. It runs nice and smooth, but is still underpowered and slow. Guess I had high hopes that a new engine would fix that problem lol. The CEL is still on though, so I'm going to borrow my friend's OBDII scanner to see what the code is.

Also discovered that both exhaust manifolds are cracked in exactly the same place, between cyls 2 and 3. Is this a common problem with Z5 exhaust manis?

Had some fun with Corel Painter. I put a vent in the right front corner of the bumper, removed the side trim, brightened the grille and made the window frame a kind of brushed silver look, or tried to anyway. Next step I htink is to repaint it a nice dark blue, try to make it look lowered and maybe some new wheels.
