Filled up the tank and went for a nice drive on some 55mph roads. Came up behind an '04 Mustang who wanted to race.

Picture that, me in my 92 hp Protege against a Mustang. Needless to say I declined the offer to race.

But now I feel more motivated to do some performance work. Unfortunately I don't have the money at the moment.

Cool, thanks dude. I've been putting off getting skirts to cover my bent rockers with bits of rust hahaha.

rules:

Today I got my car diagnosed. Three codes: MAF, Fuel Trim Bank 1, and Evap.
Conclusion: MAF is dirty or fuct, so I sprayed some carb cleaner on it and my bogging is almost non existent. I'll take it out and clean it properly tomorrow and I have a feeling it will be problem solved. The Fuel Trim Bank 1 was likely caused by overcompensating for lean conditions according to the O2 sensor, because we were getting mad fluctuations between lean and rich.

Just got the first snow of the season here. Took the Pro for a ride down the highway and around town. It feels like the stock tires with almost no tread left were better in the snow than these new all-season tires. Oh well, still fun as hell to drive and slide.

left rear pirelli got knifed yesterday AM. so i put EGT fan-blades on myself anxious to see how things go in the snow tomorrow.- the 323 is def. not known for liking any adverse weather conditions
