I Need Help With My MS 1

    i did my wiring harness using the pictures/instructions on jacobs website (before he made it password protected... kinda lame IMO), and i didn't have any issues. if the pump isnt working and it worked fine before i'd check your wiring harness.

      yea J.B. made my harness but the only way the pump would work before is if i run a jumper wire to the white/red wire in the F.P. relay. i tryed doing that now but it dosent work?????? well atleast im gettin closer to having my car back!!!

        well im getting power to the light green only if i run the jumper to the white/pink wire and also without the jumper ran to the white/pink wire the M.S. dosent come on? im so lost dose anyone have the wire'n diag for this wire so i can see why theres no power with the key on? the Fuel injection relay under the hood dosent click either should it?....do you think that it could of went bad? and would this make it so there is no power to the white/pink wire? thanks for all the help!!!!

          arg, wish you were closer or you got an MS from me or I'd be able to troubleshoot this better for ya

          what are you jumpering to what? If you have a digital camera to get some pics up of this it would really help.

                ok got the problem with the white/pink wire fixed tha fuel inj relay under the hood went bad......... so with that said im getting the 12v to the ms when i turn the key on...........now the problem the fuel pump is still not coming on???.........im getting 12v to the green wire in the fuel pump relay but im not getting any power at the fuel pump? any one have any ideas?

                    its not clicking when i turn the key to the one pos.

                    is there a way to tell one is bad? i have 2 of them i have swaped them out with no clicking from both

                    im getting 12v to the wire/pink wire and im getting 12v to the light green. what should the black and pink wire be putting out?

                            Just splice white/red to black/pink to jump the pump and try starting it but don't do this for long - the current draw might be large and might blow a fuse or overheat wires.

                              What is the fuel pump diode?

                              as far as the inertia switch goes should i only have power in the BDL(what color dose this mean) wire?

                              dose the b/pk plug into the M.S.?

                              *LEX* i have done that and it starts right up......... dose this mean my relay's are dead?

                                either the relay is dead or your fuse on the white/dark green wire (the fuel pump fuse is blown). Test that white/dark green wire with the ignition on. It should be 12 V. If it's not check that fuse. If it is 12 V, then I would suspect the relay.
