anyone know if the 626 clutch master reservoir just unscrew?
lantis clutch master cylinder doesn't work as the brake booster hits it

good news is a lantis master cylinder and brake booster is a complete bolt up job and you just need to swap the bf fork onto the push rod to get the right length on the booster
also now ive got a 7mm gap between the engine and master so its alot better now

Wow, at just 6.2kg/13.7lbs those wheels are incredibly light. That should offset the reduced ride compliance due to the shorter sidewall in a very nice way. Traction will also increase as the rubber stays on the ground more often.

Why the 40mm offset, though? The Etude generally use 45mm like other BFs, correct? Or, do your newer chassis hubs change that? Btw, which hubs/knuckles did you go with to get the 5-lug bolt pattern?
using lantis hubs, offset doesn't bother me as its around the offset i want

How did the brake lines bolt up to the lantis master cylinder? Did they all line up or did you need to mix and match?

just had to carefully bend them :/ lantis booster is probably the biggest you can fit with out hacking the lip above the booster

finally got the dam lantis bolt out of the knuckle and decide to finally fit the 5 stud rear on

also wheels fit really well in the back even with 225/55 tyres on only got a 3mm spacer but when i get 205's i wont even need the spacer :D

lantis booster and master fitted .Man its a tight fit putting the lantis booster in, you have to bend the lip above the booster as it hits
and just swap the bf push rod fork on to the lantis booster push rod
also now got a 8mm gap between engine and master so thats probably the best i will get

        etude ftw!

man i haven't update this in awhile

finally got my brass/copper radiator made up from A1 radiators
3 cores 50mm thick and fits under the radiator support and mounted two 12 inches fans on the front of the radiator

also fitted a new mx6 clutch master

              also

lantis v6 tacho installed into bf cluster with alot of mods and rewired also works great and seems accurate.
also found a speedo gear that is exact size of the lantis one but is cable
              video testing tacho

Awesome car man, never seen one like it before. those BBS rims really set it off, and especially the full engine bay

need to cut more off the alternator bracket , now see why i had to go to a custom radiator for outlets and size to fit under radiator support

1.8cm between the master and engine

update as some of you know ive been considering do some thing for awhile and yes im a little bit crazy : so plan of attack now is a 4wd,v6, turbo bf mahaha...

                        evo 5 gearbox and transfer

                        problem area its bloodly huge

any know if a vr4 transfer if its smaller , if not might have to notch the block a bit...

need a good 3cm more clearance around the transfer to get the crank to line up with the box

so question can i remove the lines on the out side of the block in the green circle or are those the water galleries and will it weaken the block alot just need to get more clearance to get the transfer to fit ,no bige will attack my kf with a grinder and see if any thing poors out

                        so the fun begins

I'd be a bit wary of grinding the ribs off as they are a lot of the strength in the block.

That's one mother of a 'box....are you going to have any steering lock with that poking out in the wheel arch ?????? My wheels just touch the end cover with the G series trans.

had a quick measure yesterday and i think it was like 2 inches longer + the adaptor plate so low offset wheels will be a must

but my worry is the transfer as it doesn't look too good that it will fit...will see how much i can grind off tomorrow ,if too much might have to pick another gearbox to use as i dont want to loose tmost of the strength in the block when a turbo is going to be pumping it with air

ok gave up on the 4wd thing ended up trying 3 gearboxes and none worked...evo 1-3 ,evo 4-5 and a st185 gearbox

so now its going to be a NA track monster with my itbs , big cams and of course a klze
some updates since last one its currently getting painted and paneled

no more crap mazda brakes , little bit big but oh well
4pot fronts and two pot rears off evo 6 next to lantis v6 caliper

                              then i got some Enkei RPF1 16x7 30 offset

only problem so far is the dam big evo brembos on mazda ba lantis hubs and getting pushed out too far like a 360mm rotor, looks like im going to have to fit rx7 fd hubs so the brembos bolt on and can fit under a 16' wheel...
