      Thanks for the advice. I am getting a pillar pod for 2 of my gauges and the other 2 I am gonna put them below the car stereo. Gonna make a plate made to mount them in.

      I wanted to keep the vents, even though they fit perfectly.

                It's a secret... MONKEY URINE!

                Well I used a pushrod with a slot cut into it, wrapped up some strips of 400 grit sand paper and a drill...

                ... then I used what they call felt bob's and polishing compound on a die grinder.

                Before all of that I carefully used a grinding ball on my die grinder to get rid of all the imperfections and make it straight and smooth.
