Yeah, if he went with the miata CAS + some LS1 coils he would be golden! Shades, I was looking at the vacuum lines to the wastegate and BOV and they are not hooked up to the manifold, they are hooked up to the IC pipe. That could be a problem....

MS settings won't allow you w/ 60-1 trigger wheel, I think

Ok it's $600ish for the dampener... and the rest is for the trigger wheel plus machining it down to fit.

Launch control and spark cut functions don't work with EDIS, but you still can have a trigger wheel and spark cut options with MS1 w/o EDIS.

Btw with MS1 a trigger wheel will not give you any more resolution since it will still be setup as a 4 point decoder wheel that just happens to have extra teeth

I run MS2... gonna try the MS2 extra code again sometime to see if they've fixed the bug.

I now have version 2 of my car, yes version 2.
I had to yank the engine and tranny... take off the tranny, THAT STILL RAN, cause it was spitting out teeth. Pictures to follow when I get time to open it. I now have a Kia rebuilt tranny with that lovely MFactory LSD, we'll see how that differs from the MS LSD I had in there before.
Second thing that was upgraded was the UR underdrive pulley is now gone... I now have the big money ATI super damper. What a bitch to put on since it's a press fit pulley instead of a slip fit. But it's on and I can hear the engine running a little smoother, and not all choppy... who cares that it's heavier.
