The mounts i used with my B6T are solid and i think i'll be able to re-use them with the KL set-up, i don't think i'll have much clearance to be able to afford the engine to move even a little bit

Sorry lol but I'm so confused on this. I have an electric speedo sensor on my Klde. There is no spot for a cable, just a plug. I thought all kldes were sensor not cable.

The first thing i had to do today was remove the intercooler to make as much room as possible so i started by taking the bumber off

            Then the intercooler

Then i bolted the motor/tranny together

And started lowering them in and dam its tight

When i got to this point

I realized it wouldn't go in with the front exhaust manifold on

            So off it came

And it was very tight going in

            But here it is

The rear exhaust manifold is very close to the steering rack but it should be ok

I may need to notch the frame rail once all the accessories are on

I took the front valve cover off since it was hitting here, so that will need some clearancing for sure

And they fit nicely under hood

Thanks guys!! i'm thinking about making the top part of the rad support removable to make it easier to pull the engine in and out cause it sure took me a while to lower it in since i had to go so freakin slow to make sure i didn't damage anything, plus it was just me and a second set of hands would have helped speed things up for sure

oh and I wasn't surprised at all that you couldn't get it in there with the exhaust manifold on there, I couldn't fit the BP in my car with the exhaust mani on either.

Are you going to counter weigh the rear end so that your weight transfer is proper?

I could fit a BP in with the exhaust manifold on, just need to turn it the right way

And I think i have just the thing to counter the weight
